Description
StudyNest is a digital platform designed for international students to manage their study-abroad journey. It helps them connect with peers, access university information, and stay updated on events, ensuring a seamless transition to a new academic environment.
Context
Moving abroad for education comes with challenges—navigating university details, managing travel, and building a new social circle. StudyNest bridges these gaps by offering a centralized platform where students can engage with their university community, organize essential documents, and stay informed.
Research
Understanding the student journey was key to shaping StudyNest’s functionality. Surveys and interviews with international students revealed that they often struggle with fragmented communication, lack of accessible university-specific resources, and difficulties in organizing important travel and academic documents. Additionally, students expressed a strong need for peer connections and community support to ease cultural adaptation. Our research guided us in developing a solution that integrates structured university information, real-time student interaction, and personalized travel and document management.
Key Features
StudyNest offers a holistic experience tailored to international students. It includes a chat feature to connect with university peers, a community section for networking and discussions, and an events dashboard to stay updated on university activities. Additionally, a personal profile section enables students to store and update essential documents, track their update history, and manage travel details—all in one place. These features collectively help students stay organized, informed, and socially connected in their new academic environment.
